Wolf Pack Roleplay - Sign Ups -

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! :D So here's my idea for the plot:

---

Plot:

Four wolf packs have lived in harmony for generations after generations. These wolf packs are not as average as you may think; the packs represent four elements: air, water, fire, and earth, and they all need each other to survive. The Alpha of the air wolves typically controls the way the wind works and calms the storms; the Alpha of the fire wolves makes sure they are all kept warm during the harsh winters; the Alpha of the earth wolves makes sure that the ground is suitable for animals that they can hunt; and finally, the Alpha of the water wolves prevents wildfires and provides water during the hottest and driest of times. It has gone on like this for as long as they all can remember until one fateful day.

The Alpha of the fire wolves has perished suddenly without any notice and no wolf is qualified to take up the position; not even the pack Beta. The water wolves-- who are more arrogant than the rest-- detach themselves from the other elements, deciding they can take care of themselves. The earth wolves are starting to believe that maybe it is time to split as well and now all four packs are in total chaos. The fire pack's only true ally is the air pack, and even they are having their doubts about staying. How will the four packs survive when all of the elements are out of balance?

---

RULES:

All PA rules

No Powerplaying

No perfect characters

No characters with wings/three eyes/powers other than their elements

All of your characters must live in the fire pack

Add your favorite kind of animal in 'Other' so I know you read the rules

I take suggestions for any major plot changes

You may have as many characters as you would like but please only take one high-ranking wolf

While every wolf has powers they generally start developing during the early stage of their apprenticeship. Fire wolves can breathe small plumes of fire at around 11 moons old, however if they are trained to be Alpha they can radiate their heat to warm all four packs but it takes much power and harsh training from the Alpha himself. However since he died there have been complications and they are looking for the most talented wolf to take his place. The Beta has the most power in the pack thus far so he will be training the three apprentices and find the one who has the most power

Usually there would only be one wolf trained to be the Alpha but in such dire times there are three; you aren't allowed to take more than one and please don't make them all-powerful fire-breathers

What the Camp Looks Like:

A clearing with small dens and a stream running through it. There is a dirt mound in the corner where the Alpha would sit, with the Alphas den on the side of it. There are bushes and trees surrounding the camp with small blossoms growing off of the branches.

---

Prey:

Deer (sometimes), squirrels, thrush, various birds.

NameEmber

Age: 12

Gender: Male

Rank: Apprentice, training to become a hunter.

Appearance:

Ember is a rich, mahogany brown wolf with dark amber eyes. His fur has speckles of some darker brown and lighter brown here and there and a couple of dark brown spots along the bridge of his muzzle. His eyes have a few flecks of gold around the iris. While he's not considered 'lanky' or 'slim' he's not too muscular and is in training to become a hunter because of his more lithe build. His left back paw is lighter brown than the rest along with his right front paw. He's light on his feet and hard to hear which is one of the most valuable assets of a hunter.

Personality

Ember's not ambitious and therefore doesn't exactly want to become the next Alpha and is glad he's not one of the apprentices who have to train to become the next. He is, however, very loyal to his pack and would train if he had to, though he's not sure how that would go. Ember typically likes to watch and observe rather than socialize however this doesn't make him socially awkward or challenged; he'll talk if necessary and sometimes even joke around if the time is right. He believes that the water pack was dumb to leave the four packs and he thinks that they should come back as he's also firm believer in teamwork. While he doesn't like to show it, Ember is slightly concerned about what will happen to the fire pack without the other elements and he isn't sure what they'll have to endure without them by their side. Once Ember even considered being a Healer due to the unfortunate accidents during his pup-hood, but decided against it. While Ember doesn't talk very much, he is very loyal and kind and would die to save his pack and his last remaining family member, Sora.

History

Ember had the life of a typical wolf for about two moons. He had his mother, father, and two siblings. Unfortunately one of his siblings caught an awful sickness in the middle of leaf-bare, causing the whole family to get sick. His sibling-- at the age of only 2 moons-- got worse and worse until it was almost certain he was going to die. Ember was much too young to remember most of it but he remembered how it caused the whole family to go into a sort of mini-depression which didn't help the sickness that was still clinging onto the family. After the sibling died, the whole family just spiraled downwards as his father also died from the sickness. Swamped with grief and illness, Ember's mother died soon after the incident, leaving Ember and Sora alone with no true family to care for them.

Crush: Maybe eventually

Mate: As of now, nope!

Pups: Although he adores them... nope!

Kin: Branch *father, deceased* Tulip *mother, deceased* Oak *brother, deceased* Sora *sister, alive*

Other: I don't really have a favorite animal, but I really like manatees :3

Name: Sora

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Rank: Apprentice, will become a hunter!

Appearance:

Sora looks much different from her brother, Ember. While still having the same amber eyes, rather than gold flecks they're a very dark green. Sora is much smaller than her brother and her fur is a light, pine-cone brown with white fluff inside her ears and around her tail/right front paw. Sora has a few muscles around her front legs from running so much but other than that she's very slim and lithe with a narrow muzzle and ears that point at the tips.

Personality

Sora is very curious and talkative, opposite to her quiet and observant brother, Ember. Sora can get distracted by the smallest things like a leaf fluttering by or a cloud that's shaped like a mouse. A few cats think that she doesn't really have what it takes to become a hunter but if it's for her pack, Sora will become just as determined as any other wolf and do her best. She's quite loyal but a bit naive and sometimes too kind as she believes that the water pack was just upset and they needed time to cool off-- pun unintended. She loves pups and enjoys caring for them and playing with them and hopes someday she'll have some of her own.

History: Read Embers' ^

Crush: Perhaps later in the roleplay!

Mate: Nope!

Pups: She wants em'!

Kin: Branch *father, deceased* Tulip *mother, deceased* Oak *brother, deceased* Sora *sister, alive*

Other:

Name: Rose

Age: 13

Gender: Female

Rank: Healer Apprentice

Appearance:

Rose is very small for a wolf. She's nearly half the size of a fully grown wolf, with a thick coat of dark grey fur that makes her appear slightly larger than she really is. Her fur is patched with darker grey along her stomach, tail, and three of her paws, with some lighter grey and near-white chest fur. Her eyes are a dark amber, seeming almost brown in some lighting. Her legs are pretty short to be a wolves and she's very tiny underneath her thick, unruly fur on the outside.

Personality

Rose-- despite being her tiny self-- can actually be quite snappish and temperamental. She's very focused on her training to become a Healer and pushes herself to be her best. Rose feels like she must become something big to feel like more than just a tiny, pup-like wolf, and even though as a kit she was much more playful and kind, she grew up to be the determined, snappy young wolf she is now. It's quite interesting, however, how she becomes kind of a different wolf when dealing with pups or very young apprentices. It's hard for her to snap at them when they get into the herb supply or get frustrated when they won't stay still as she can remember when she was younger and had just the same impulses. Rose is actually quite young and although she tries to present herself as mature and Healer-like, she's always wondered what it would be like to train to become a guard or a hunter, but she would never switch her position. For one, she wouldn't want to leave her mentor-- who she quite admires-- without an apprentice at his age and-- although she doesn't express it verbally-- quite likes learning all of the different herbs and such. As for the water pack incident... Rose finds she's not really sure what to make of that.

History:

Growing up as a litter of one, Rose was alone from the start-- literally. Rose's father died well after her mother found out she was pregnant and her mother died while in labor. Rose had always been alone and felt like an outcast compared to the other pups who had parents and were normal sizes. She tried to test her skills becoming a guard or hunter but would find herself peeking into the healers den and asking about the herbs, then realizing a few days later that she could remember it. Although it wasn't her first choice, she decided that being a healer was her best choice to become something bigger than her tiny self-- and it was also something she found she enjoyed.

Crush: Even if she did, she's a healer apprentice :c

Mate: She's too loyal for that

Pups: Impossible (plus, too young)

Kin: All deceased, though I may perhaps make her an older sibling later.

Other: Nope!

Name: Ash

Age: 11 moons

Gender: Female

Rank: Alpha-in-training

Appearance:

Ash - while normal size and stature for a wolf her age - tends to blend in with the shadows as her fur is a dark, ashy color. Her eyes stand out more since they are a vibrant shade of blue, but other than that it's hard to notice her, especially if it's night. She has a long narrow muzzle, slightly rounded ears, and wide eyes. Her underbelly is a slightly lighter grey, and underneath her tail is a light grey as well as her chest fur. She tends to keep her fur well-groomed but it's slightly long and a bit hard to handle, especially when burrs get caught in it.

Personality:

Ash is actually very shy and quiet. Some would even call her a pushover or too soft. She hates confrontations and doesn't much like to interact with other wolves whatsoever. Surprisingly enough, her fire-power is actually over average and she hates all of the attention she's gotten for it. Being the shy and timid wolf she is, she doesn't like being in the spot-light or getting much attention; she'd much rather just be left alone, but ever since her fire-breathing got more powerful she felt as if all eyes were on her. It's especially strange hearing that a wolf that never talks and is basically a shadow is being trained for Alpha, and Ash wishes that her fire-breathing was just normal so she could go back to blending into the shadows.

History:

Ash had a normal pup-hood, but she was always very shy. It was just her nature.

Crush: Flint @Alcarie if that's okay with you. She's my hopeless romantic and having a crush on someone like Flint will be interesting lol.

Mate: Nope

Pups: No

Kin: Deceased from natural causes, she was the last litter to be born. Has an older brother, Robin.

Other

Name: Storm

Age: 36 moons

Gender: Male

Rank: Beta

Appearance:

Storm's appearance certainly lives up to his name. Storm is an ashy grey color, with patches of light grey and darker gray speckled around his muzzle and all around his sides and belly. His front left paw is also a light grey, along with the tip of his tail and he has some rough patches of light grey around his front/back paws. Storm isn't exactly 'burly' but he is quite muscular and large to due moons of being a guard, though he's fairly swift and quick on his paws. His eyes are a dark amber-ish-yellow and the inside of his ears are white.

Personality:

Storm is good-humored and easy-to-laugh, and was an obvious choice for the Beta position because of his personality and skill. He's extremely loyal to every single member of his pack and - like many others of his pack - would die to save any of them. When the Alpha died, Storm felt the responsibility of the pack rest on his shoulders and seem a bit distant or frazzled at times, but his heart is always in the right place. Sometimes he can be very harsh when it comes to punishments as the stress can get to him at times especially when he now has three young wolves to train.

History:

Storm had a normal pup-hood - no siblings, but some play-mates, and he was fine with that. He went through his training and was average, and he was also fine with that. He became a guard and then his parents died of old age (since they weren't exactly young sprouts when Storm came to be) and Storm went through the cycles of grief. Eventually he learned to numb the grief, and decided that he would protect every single one of his pack-makes so they didn't have to feel the grief he did. He wasn't ambitious at all and really just wanted a normal guard life and was honored and surprised when he was chosen for the role of Beta, but felt another great rush of grief when the Alpha died. Now he feels like he must train the three wolves as much as he can.

Crush: A bit too old.

Mate: Perhaps if anyone needs a mate! c: otherwise, no.

Pups: Nope. Too many responsibilities already!

Kin: parents deceased, no siblings.

Name: Chasm

Age: 30 Moons

Gender: Male

Rank: Guard

Appearance: This. Chasm could have been a hunter rather than a guard with his long legs and stream-line body. He's lithe and agile, good to dodging and running someone down but not so good in a physical fight. He's a bit slim through the shoulders and can at first appear ungainly with his large paws and long legs, but Chasm has learned how to control himself so that he's surprisingly graceful (a tactic he's trying to teach Cricket) and light on his feet. His fur is thin and coarse, though a bit longer on his tail, neck, and underbelly. It's dark brown and darkens into near black at his extremities. There are patches of lighter browns and tans along his back and flanks, and a smattering of grey on his neck and face that are beginning to become more obvious as he ages. Chasm's eyes are a medium amber.

Personality: Chasm is typically a rather laid-back kind of wolf, with few goals in life other then serving his pack to the best of his abilities, protecting and giving everything he has to his mate, pups, and little brother, and being as good a guard as he possibly can; basically he has no aspiration to become alpha or beta. Truthfully, he does not want the responsibility of the pack falling on his shoulders. He has a snarky, sarcastic side that can get him into trouble because he does not do well with keeping his mouth shut; particularly when the loaded comment is about someone he does not like or someone threatening the pack. Which, to him, is just about anyone outside of the Fire pack. Chasm is not really a trusting wolf unless he knows someone well, and will not go out of his way to make any new comer feel welcome. His multiple faults aside, Chasm is a loyal wolf to his core and is not afraid to jump headfirst into danger if he feels it's needed. His packmates are everything, and although he's not the best fighter he always does what's needed through cunning. He does enjoy relaxing and having fun with his friends when the time allows it, and even likes helping the apprentices or pups with their small schemes of mischief.

History: Chasm's parents had many problems conceiving a pup and it wasn't until both were well into adult-hood that they finally succeeded and bore Chasm. Chasm, being what they considered their miracle pup was well loved by both and had a happy and fulfilling pup-hood. As he became an apprentice he worried about which path would be best for him: a guard or hunter. His mother was a hunter, lithe and fast, were as his father was a guard, large and powerful. Having more of his mothers build Chasm tried his paws at being a hunter, but within two moons knew it was not for him. Chasm had a natural inclination to protect, not hunt. Changing his path in the middle of his apprenticeship was not an easy thing, and though he was older than most apprentices when he finally became a guard, the extra couple of moons helped him grow into himself. He was delighted when he learned he was going to be an older brother, and as soon as Cricket was born Chasm made sure he was in his little brothers life, helping where he could and taking on a much larger role in Cricket's life after their parents passed away. A few moons after Cricket became an apprentice Chasm and Star chose to become mates and quickly after the nursery filled with Star and their two pups. After, Chasm felt his purpose in life was fulfilled; to have a family to love and protect.

Crush: Nevermore

Mate: Star

Pups: Lilac and Flame

Kin: Is Cricket's older brother.

Other: My favorite animal is probably the jaguar, in particular melanistic ones.

~.~.~
Name: Cricket

Age: 11 Moons

Gender: Male

Rank: Apprentice; training to be a guard

Appearance: This. Cricket is your average sized young wolf at his age, though his wide shoulders and bulk suggest he'll grow up to be burly and powerful instead of lanky, agile, and fast. His fur is thick and coarse and tends to attract burrs no matter how hard he tries to avoid them. His tail is shorter than a lot of wolves and stout, the fur on it shorter and patchier than what is on the rest of his coat. Said coat is dark brown that darkens to near black on his extremities (legs, muzzle, tail), with lighter patches of browns and tans along his back and flanks. Cricket's eyes are a bright amber.

Personality: Cricket is a very outgoing apprentice, typically all faux-shy smiles and bright eyes. He's exuberant and constantly curious about, not only the world around him, but also the wolves surrounding him. This includes the other three packs. He wants to fit in, is always interested in being a part of something bigger, and so is always trying to impress the older wolves in hopes they'll keep him around for one reason or another so he can listen and learn. Cricket is not a suck-up, however, and does not necessarily care to speak his mind; though he does attempt to think through his words before speaking them. Not that it always works, as he's young and tends to be impulsive. He's learned over the course of his apprenticeship that back talking can get his butt kicked in training by his fellow apprentices and mentor. Cricket can be a bit snarky, typically played for laughs, and loves to be around others his own age to talk, hunt, and explore with. He's surprisingly smart for someone his age, when it comes to the world around him anyway, and strategizing is one of his strong points. Patience, on the other hand, is not so much something he's good at. Cricket decided on becoming a guard apprentice rather than hunter because he'll grow up to be bulky rather than lanky and to follow in his brothers paws. As of the moment he's still growing a bit into his paws so he's a bit awkward and graceless.

History: Cricket's history is much like Chasm's. He was the only pup to be born in his litter and so grew up close with his older brother. After his mother's death due to sickness when he was five moons and fathers retirement into the elders den, where he subsequently passed away the next leaf-bare, Cricket didn't let the sadness overwhelm him and instead began focusing on what he was going to do with his life.

Crush: None as of the moment

Mate: Nope

Pups: Nope

Kin: Chasm is his older brother.

Other: Nothing of importance.

~.~.~

Name: Snowdancer

Age: 62 Moons

Gender: Male

Rank: Healer? (Could also be considered an elder)

Appearance: This. Snowdancer is easily recognizable as an elder. His once proud frame is now stooped and haggard, and he walks with a bit of a limp. He's skinnier now than he's ever been, though his thick, long fur tends to hide this fact unless someone is carefully looking. It's not that he's unhealthy, Snowdancer is just showing his age quite prominently now. His fur, once a light grey mingled with white, is now more white than grey. Snowdancer's eyes are a dark brown, dulled now instead of bright.

Personality: Though becoming healer might not have been his first choice with what he wanted to do with his future as a pup, Snowdancer tries not to let his disappointment with his lot in life slow him down or stop him from doing his duties to his fullest abilities. And though limited in what he can do, is not an angry, bitter, or hateful wolf. In fact he's pretty peppy and happy (most of the time), because he's alive, he's helping his packmates, and for the moment he's healthy-ish. Now that's not to say he's annoyingly perky, Snowdancer is a mild-mannered and deceptively calm when working or around his alpha and beta. He's got an undertone of satire typically, and can shoot off his mouth rather quickly; he will tell anyone that stupid questions deserve snarky answers. He's smart with a good memory, which is what allowed him to pursue his tasks and do them well. Persistent towards his goals, he's no one to give up at anything he's doing, nor admit defeat easily and he can become quite aggressive if told there's no way he can do something. Snowdancer has gained the knowledge that sometimes a shoulder to lean on, or an ear to listen to someone, can be more effective then herbs in certain circumstances, which is something he's hoping to pass onto his apprentice. And he's good at both, being a wolf whose social and enjoys spending time outside of his den with his packmates; even if getting out is becoming harder to do with each passing leafbare. Knowing that he likely won't see to many more seasons has not slowed him down, and he's not told anyone else how bad he's slowly getting. He simply wants to do his duties to his clan to the fullest, and know that it will be left in good paws when he finally passes over.

History: Snowdancer was never exactly a robust wolf, even as a pup. He'd been plagued by illness most of his life, and though he's fought through it all it had an impact on him. He was rarely healthy enough to run after the other apprentices and instead spent a lot of time with the former healer. It was with her that Snowdancer realized his greatest asset was his mind, not his body. Snowdancer was smart instead of strong and decided to become the healer's apprentice by the time he was eight moons. He's never regretted this decision, though now that he's old and feels is alone, being one of the only ones (if not the only one) of his generation left, he wishes he'd had the opportunity to have a family, someone to care and love him as blood instead of simply a healer.

Crush: Nope

Mate: Nope

Pups: Nope

Kin: All long deceased. Unless someone wants him to be a uncle/great uncle or something.

Other: I don't see him living throughout the roleplay, but he won't die until his apprentice is ready to take over of course.

~.~.~

Name: Mink

Age: 18 Moons

Gender: Female

Rank: Hunter

Appearance: This. Mink is lithe and even a bit muscular, though short in stature. She's not as fast as most of the other hunters, but what she lacks in speed she makes up for in endurance. She's neatly built and almost elegant, if not for her small size, with slim shoulders and slightly thicker hips. Her fur is thick and medium in length, though slightly longer around her neck and tail. It's a patchwork of browns, some light and some darker, with a bit of black throw in along her flanks and white on her chin, chest and paws. Mink's eyes are a dark amber.

Personality: Stubborn and hard-headed, Mink is not a wolf who can be told what to do by just anyone; she has to respect you. And that respect must be earned. To Mink, just because someone has a title of alpha or beta does not mean they are worthy of her loyalty. She's fairly quick to snarl and make judgments on others and their decisions, but at the end of the day Mink's smart enough to stop and reprimand herself for her quick temper and will often either apologize or take back of words when she's fully thought them out. She does not mean to be a cranky pain-in-the-rump, and she does know her temper sometimes get the best of her. But underneath her prickles is a softer she-wolf whose ultimately loyal to her pack, and would not hesitate to defend anyone in it; including those she might not particularly like. Unless, of course, they do something particularly heinous, such as killing another wolf, or harming a pup. Mink's surprisingly maternal, and does not mind working with the apprentices either with their training or if they are simply having problems. When she does not feel herself or the pack is being threatened Mink loosens up a bit and is more playful and adventurous, happy to do her duties as a hunter and provide for the pack.

History: Nothing really of importance. Mink was born in the pack and plans to die in the pack.

Crush: Thunder

Mate: Nope

Pups: Nope

Kin: Open if anyone needs her to be something.

Other: Nope

~.~.~

Name: Flint

Age: 10 Moons

Gender: Male

Rank: Alpha-in-training

Appearance: Flint, only at this time he'll look just a bit younger. He's a medium sized wolf whose more brawn than speed. Flint's stocky, with a long body, short, stout legs, and broad shoulders. This means he's not agile or fast by any means, but what he lacks in those he makes up for in brute strength and endurance. His fur is thick and coarse, in particular around his neck and belly, and sometimes gives him the unfortunate appearance of having a mane. Said fur is, at its base, a very pale tan which darkens along his back and flanks to a medium brown with black flecks. The fur around his eyes, muzzle, and tail also darken a bit as well. The very tip of his tail is white.

Personality: Flint is one of those types you either like for some odd reason...or absolutely hate. He's brash, over-confident, boisterous, aggressive, a bit of a show-off, and extremely bull-headed. It's not that he necessarily thinks he's better than everyone (except when he does..) but that he thinks can do anything just as well as anyone (hint: he's very wrong). He really does not have much of a filter and will say the first thing that comes to mind, which is often a bad thing. To Flint, the Fire Pack is obviously the greatest of the four and is trying to understand why some of the wolves want to make peace with the other three. Flint, quite obviously, has many negative traits, but he also has some good ones. Loyalty is very important to him; to family, to the pack, and for a wolf his age his fellow apprentices. It's not that Flint tries to be a blockhead, it's just his personality, and so he sometimes wonders why others have issues with him. He's a very social wolf and loves being around others his own age, and though he might be disliked by his peers Flint puts up blinders to it simply because he hates being alone. If the other apprentices are in trouble or need help Flint won't hesitate to offer assistance, in his own vexing way. Flint's eager to learn, and finding himself in the position of being one of the three alphas in training might have gone to his head a bit. When not show-boating, Flint is easy-going, almost lazy, sometimes charming, and fun-loving. Lastly, Flint's a perpetual flirt with a flair for the dramatic. He does not care about rank, age, or gender: he'll happily flirt with anyone.

History: Nothing really of importance. He was born in the pack and plans to die in the pack.

Crush: A different one every day....

Mate: Nope!

Pups: Nope!

Kin: Both parents are deceased, and he was never close with either of them. Other family is open.

Other: Flint needs a good dose of reality (and a good knock on the head) to make him see his faults and flaws; in particular if he wants to continue on the path of training to be alpha. Flaws aside, he was chosen as one of the three because he's a powerful fire user, he's just not experienced enough with control to know what to do with it.

Name: Hawke

Age: 14 Moons

Gender: Male

Rank: Hunter

Appearance: This. I'll edit with a description later.

Personality: Hawke is a lot like a tree: steady, extremely hard to move, and rarely falls over due to adversary. He's a soft spoken wolf who attempts to keep a heart of gold, always someone who tries to see the good in everyone and saddened when wolfs' actions or words are unjustified or plainly prejudiced. To him, everyone is inherently good, but circumstances or challenges too big to beat can cause a wolf to go dark. This can make him seem like he's got blinders on, or is blind to the truth and refuses to see whats right in front of him. Which is, in some ways, completely true. Hawke's trust and willingness to obscure others' true intentions can make him gullible and easily manipulated or hurt. But at the same time he's also not stupid, and is always weary of the world, not the wolves, around him. He knows the likeliness of being hurt by something is high, and since he's got a sensible head on his shoulders Hawke's cautious and tries not to 'poke the sleeping bear'. For a wolf of only fourteen moons, Hawke seems pretty 'grown up'. This is likely just because he's focused and finds some of the things young wolves do as stupid and immature; the only wolf who can make Hawke act like a wolf of fourteen moons is his sister, Sky. Some wolves have complained that he's an old soul in a young body. But for Hawke he simply goes about his duties without complaint (normally). Like most young wolves Hawke is ambitious and has dreams of rising through the ranks. Though he knows it'll likely never happen, Hawke is still young and naive enough to hope. On a day-to-day basis he's always rearing to go, whether it be to hunt, patrol, or help with duties around the camp. Hawke is a social wolf, so chatting aimlessly, or helping out others with his 'big brother' mentality, is always something he's open for. Being so young, he was extremely surprised when he'd been given an apprentice and wants to do what is best for Cherry.

History: At only four moons old, Sky and Hawke's parents were killed after the Fire Pack's main camp was flooded. After, another she-wolf took the orphaned pups as her own; Hawke never hated Honey for raising them though he never thought of her as his mother. He still grieved for her after her death. Over the moons Hawke has watched his sister spiral into unhappiness and wishes he could figure out how to help her.

Crush: Cherry

Mate: Nope

Pups: Nope

Kin: Sky is his sister ( @Kitkat If that's okay?)

Other: He could be Cherry's mentor? His crush could cause some drama?

Name: Raine

Age: 19 Moons

Gender: Female

Rank: Guard / About to become a Mother

Appearance: This...I'll write a description soon.

Personality: Raine is most definitely a wolf resolute in her opinion that, though she's female, she is just as conductive to pack-life and the protection and development of Fire pack as the brutes. She does not belittle the males though, knows that they are important, but she's all about equality between the two. She'd grown up with a bit of an aloof mother who taught her the values of being a strong-willed she-wolf and Raine loved the idea. Wanted to be like her mother who didn't cower at anything, who'd stood resolutely beside her mate in the face of any challenge. So from a young age she molded herself into someone who voices her opinions (sometimes in the wrong situation), won't back down easily, and is resolute in her ideals and values. This makes her hard-headed and contrary, a wolf whose likely a bit too proud at times. She wants so badly to become a wolf her mother would have been proud of: a iron-willed, headstrong she-wolf. But by trying to become this she's lost a lot of her gentler nature; or maybe not so much lost as she's never learned how to let it show properly. When she needs to show a little delicacy she's not sure how to go about it and often fumbles, so she's resigned herself to staying away from situations that require a soft-touch. But now that she's learned she's going to be a mother and is going to have to learn how to be loving and a care-giver she's scared out of her mind. She's worried she's going to inevitably screw her pups up and completely fail as a queen. For a wolf whose always prided herself on being in control of herself and the situation the fact that this is so completely out of her comfort zone is driving her crazy. Which is why she's hidden the fact she's pregnant for so long; but now that she's beginning to show she knows the secret will soon be out and she'll be herded off the nursery where she'll surely worry her fur out with nothing to take her mind off the coming moons.

History: Raine had a simple puphood, with no extraordinary circumstances or personal losses. She was the sole pup of her parents second litter and the only she-pup: thus was pampered and coddled by both her father, and her older brother Lake. Her mother, though attentive to Raine, was not a particularly affectionate wolf and had the opinion that she-wolves were not simply lovers, soft and sweet, but also fighters. She wanted to instill this value into her daughter- wanted to teach Raine that her place was beside the brutes, not hiding behind them in the nursery. Raine took her mothers teachings to heart and from a young age sought to 'be one with the boys' so to speak. Much of her ability to be one of the guys stemmed from watching and learning from her brother, who never once blinked at the thought of his little sister growing up just as rough, bawdy, and crass as most young brutes. He worried about her though and she knew it; not that it stopped her. Growing up, form apprentice to young guard, Raine remained close to Lake and used him as a shoulder from comfort when she felt she needed it though it was always out of sight of the others. Out of all the wolves in the pack Raine felt that it was her steadfast older brother who she could trust her innermost secrets and soft spots too. He'd not judge her. Lake's death due to an infection after a run in with a adder felt like the end of the world for Raine. The loss of the one wolf who she could be herself around, her bestfriend and confidant, nearly tore her apart.
Raine realized fairly quickly that she had one sharp contrast with the typical she-cat, other than the obvious tom-boyishness. She, though friends with them, had no interest in toms romantically. She couldn't see being confined to the nursery, detested even the thought that she would be cooped in a small den where she'd have to rely on a male to provide her with food and protection. So, unlike so many she-wolves who'd found their 'other half', Raine simply sneered at the notion and went on her merry way. At least until she made a rather embarrassing mistake. She had a bit of a 'tryst' with a brute, with no emotional attachment or plans for the future. Next thing she knew she was pregnant, embarrassed, and horrified with herself. She's kept this fact to herself but knows soon she'll begin showing and then will be forced into the nursery.

Crush: Nope!

Mate: Nope!

Pups: Expecting.

Kin: All deceased.

Other: Two of her kits are open to be played; if no one takes them they'll be killed off quickly. Also, if someone wants to be the pups father that's fine with me as well.

@Kitkat Finished the mentor and added another queen.

Heather

Female

12 moons

Hunter

Heather was a young pup when she mysteriously appeared. She refuses to say anything about her family and has very little allies.

Quiet, secretive, snappy, secretly depressed

Heather’s mother died when she was born, and her father died a few days later. She had no siblings to rely on, so she was forced to live by herself. She has nearly died almost 5 times.

Heather is a pale grey wolf who is very small. She is terribly skinny because she often refuses to eat. She has green eyes and insane reflexes.

Heather has no mate or crush, for she fears that no one likes her

Heather never ever wants pups

Heather’s talented reflexes allow her to sense even the smallest threat, hence why she’s still alive

@Kitkat Just curious but since there's no beta, who's going to be training the three apprentices mentioned in the plot to figure out whom will be alpha, who, if anyone, is doing the training? And who of the pack is sitting in as acting leader?

Oh! And do apprentices have a specific mentor or do all the hunters/guards pitch in to do the training? I'll start making a post once I'm sure I won't make my characters do something they shouldn't. :3

I was planning on making the Beta, but if you would like to take the role, then I would be fine with that. Also, usually the stronger, burly apprentices take the role of guard, but smaller, faster ones could also be useful in battle.

@Kitkat If you'd rather me play the beta I would not mind to.^^ Though I'm already the Healer so I'm not sure it would be fair to others for me to have two higher roles.

Oh, I probably should have asked that apprentice question better, I worded it really bad. XD I meant, do apprentices have a specific mentor or would the older wolves of the same rank help train them? For example, with Cricket, whose a guard apprentice, would only one guard train him (like in Warrior Cats, if you've read the books) or would all of the guards work to train him?

I feel like something needs to be done about some of the pets recently added into the bazaar.
I know that this has been a problem for a long while now, but it's just getting worse. The bazaar is being crowded with so many overly priced pets that it's hard to even navigate it anymore.
I get wanting to make some profit, but when you put pets in the bazaar for 20,000 ZC they're just going to sit there and take up space, making it harder to find other pets.
I don't think anyone in their right mind is going to pay 20,000 ZC for a pet even if it's super rare. I don't think most people are even willing to pay up to 1,000 ZC for a pet in there.
Also, so many newer users that don't know how much pets are worth yet are just burning through their ZC because of it.
If you see any pets that are severely overpriced, please take a moment to flag them so newer users don't get ripped off. I flag overly priced pets all the time, but just one flag isn't going to fix anything. Pets need 10 flags to be taken down.

To anyone who has DeviantArt, you should definitely add me on there. I'm trying to become a little more active on there.

I wish I could change my username on there because I don't particularly care for it anymore. I don't know why I didn't go with Kaylercool. I've been using Kaylercool as a username basically since I discovered the internet.

Wow, the post service here in Austria sucks sooo hard. I chose EMS shipping because everyone always says its so safe and awesome and whatever. And then I get a package today, that is completely wet and has 2 freaking holes. And the freaking postman says "it's not our fault, if it's broken you have to send it back". Like hell I would do that!!! The Japanese post service would NEVER treat packages like that! It's your goddamn fault and no one else's for letting packages stand around in the rain or snow!! Lucky for them the figure box and the figure herself aren't wet or broken. Thank you AmiAmi for putting so much protection in the box! Seriously, everyone always complains about that, but without it I'm pretty sure the outer box of the figure would have been soaked as well. God, I hate the post service so much. Even more than Customs, which also suck pretty bad. >_<
